Director of Sales, West

Position Summary

We are seeking a high-impact, results-driven Director of Sales, West with an established network across dermatology, aesthetic practices, and key national accounts in the Western US. This leader brings a proven track record of consistently exceeding targets, ranking among top performers nationally, and rapidly scaling revenue in competitive markets.

The Director of Sales, West will lead the launch and growth of Re-Q in the Western region, combining strategic territory leadership with hands-on field execution. You will leverage existing relationships with dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and aesthetic practices to build a strong pipeline, open accounts quickly, and drive repeat ordering. As the regional leader, you will also recruit and develop a team of Account Executives who consistently perform at a top-ranked level.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Acceleration

  • Drive aggressive revenue growth across the West region through new account acquisition and expansion within existing practices
  • Leverage established relationships with dermatologists, plastic surgeons, aesthetic practices, and national accounts to rapidly scale market penetration
  • Consistently exceed regional sales targets and establish a culture of accountability and top-tier performance
  • Identify and capitalize on high-value opportunities across territories and key accounts

People Management & Team Growth

  • Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team of Account Executives with a strong hunter mentality
  • Instill a performance-driven culture focused on execution, accountability, and winning
  • Coach and mentor team members to achieve top-tier rankings and exceed individual and team quotas
  • Build the infrastructure, cadence, and expectations that define how the West region operates

Account Management & Customer Experience

  • Build and maintain deep, trusted relationships with key providers and strategic accounts across the Western US
  • Ensure a premium, consultative customer experience that drives long-term loyalty and utilization
  • Partner with practices to improve in-office performance, patient engagement, and revenue outcomes
  • Serve as an escalation point and executive sponsor for priority accounts in the region

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner with the CCO and Director of Sales, East on regional strategy, prioritization, and execution planning
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Sales Operations to support regional needs and field execution
  • Provide structured field insights on messaging, objections, and market dynamics to inform national strategy
  • Contribute to the evolution of sales processes and best practices as the commercial organization scales

Qualifications

Required

  • 8-10+ years of sales experience in medical aesthetics, dermatology, plastic surgery, physician-dispensed skincare, or adjacent medical device categories
  • Proven national top-performer with a consistent, verifiable track record of exceeding sales targets including award histories and top rankings
  • Established, transferable relationships with dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and aesthetic practices across the Western US
  • Demonstrated success in new account acquisition and market expansion at a regional or national level
  • Meaningful experience building, leading, and developing high-performing field sales teams
  • Relentless, results-oriented mindset with the discipline and rigor to execute in an early-stage environment
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and pivot quickly as business priorities evolve

Preferred

  • Brand or product launch experience at a startup or early-stage company
  • Established conference presence and KOL relationships in dermatology and aesthetics
  • Familiarity with CRM and commercial tools such as HubSpot, Shopify, or Exfluential
  • Experience selling on mechanism of action and clinical evidence to board-certified physicians

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $200,000+
  • Incentive Compensation: Uncapped variable tied to new account openings, territory revenue, and reorder rate — top performers have unlimited earning potential
